| . | Rainbows and Brownies in the village are looking to attract new members. Rainbows, aged 5 and 6 years, meet on Thursday evenings in the Scout and Guide Headquarters. Brownies, aged 7 to 101/2 years, meet on Monday evenings. If interested, please contact MARILYN LANGLEY (273521) for Rainbows and AUDREY HARVEY (274479) or MARGARET EBURNE (273934) for Brownies. Helpers Urgently Wanted Fifteen years ago Sapcote had two Guide companies and two Brownie packs, all thriving. Now it has just one Brownie pack. Rainbows has been introduced for younger girls but is still run on a temporary basis by a Stoney Stanton leader. Girls of Guide age have to go to Sharnford if they wish to continue. The main reason for this decline is a desperate lack of leaders. District commissioner, PHYLLIS BESTWICK (272091) would be delighted to hear from anyone willing to train as a leader or even as a non-uniformed unit helper. No previous experience is necessary. M.H.
