Hello

I was in Sapcote in November visiting my brother Dave
Quinn and his family. We both went to the Red Lion in
Sapcote for a few drinks. This is a great pub and
everyone is extremely friendly. It is a very warm and
welcoming pub and I will definitely be back in the
near future. I drank Guinness and I have to say it was
one of the best pints I have ever had and I live in
Ireland!!!! Thanks to all the staff who really looked
after us.

Noel Quinn

Dear Cliff, I would like to say a big thank you for starting the village web again as it has been dormant for so long. The new features are great, its always good to know what's going on in and around the village. Pete!

First may I say what a superb site you have started,
I am very impressed with the quality of the content

Just to say I think the site is absolutely fantastic! My Mum and Dad
live in the village in Underwood, but I am currently studying in Durham.
I felt so homesick until I saw the page! It is a real credit to the
village and actually makes me fell quite proud to have lived there all
my life. I also thought the All Saints School website was great.

Keep up the good work
many thanks
Kate

I think its an excellent site, just what the village needs, great for newcomers to the village, good graphics, and I should think much hard work put in by you. Paula

I
was pleased to see that Sapcote is once more to have its own site and wish you much success. Gil

I'm a newcomer to the village and I found your web site very interesting. Its nice to see that some people take pride in their community. I've moved here from the city and find it a refreshing change to walk down the street and complete strangers take time to say hello. Claire

Thank you for your new Sapcote www site.
Keep up the good work. I will be visiting the site....   P...

We live in Australia but were raised in Sapcote. I have just had a lovely wander around the village. I could pick out the house belonging to my godmother Beryl Hincks (nee Messenger) who lived in the village all her life.  I can remember visiting her in the house in Church St. It had an entry big enough for a carriage to go through. I loved the old photo of the Blacksmiths shop where my grandfather worked, someone was sitting on the Mounting stone.  I will have to see if my son can print that one off for me.  Thanks Beryl
