SAPCOTE APPRAISAL for VILLAGE ENHANCEMENT (S.A.V.E.)

The Accommodation have asked the Leicestershire and Rutland Rural Council to help set up a village appraisal, which will be produced by villagers. With the objective of finding out what people in this village want to see in the future and what they would like to improve or preserve of the services and amenities we already have.

The appraisal will take the form of a questionnaire, to be distributed to all households and the findings will be produced as a village book, which will used to lobby the county council for funding projects.

We believe that as many organisations and individuals in the village should be involved in this community venture if possible. So we are informing you of options for involvement. You could join the Steering Committee of this project, which will mean a fortnightly commitment to meeting, and further planning of the questionnaire.

If there is anyone who would like to join us, or even help at the later stages with distribution of the questionnaire, then please contact Sariah Crossley our Chairperson, or any other committee member.

We should like you to encourage Sapcote residents to fill in the questionnaire (it will be completely anonymous) and return it promptly so that it can be assessed quickly.

If you would like one of us to come and talk you about the project, or if you would like help with the form filling, this can be arranged.

These will then form the questionnaire to be sent to each household.

Thank you for your time and we hope for your support in this exciting community project.
